Assignment #1 – Three Characters

For this assignment, you’ll be working on concepts for three characters. Their names are “Speed”, “Strength”, and “Wonder”.

They can be human, or animals, or anything you’d like, but they do embody their names in their appearance.

You’ll prepare 20 thumbnails for each character, with a total of 60. These can be in your sketchbook and scanned, or digital. They should be thumbnails, but should convey form and personality. Don’t include colors in these.

Bring these printed to class, twenty to a 8.5” x 11” page each (that’s three pages, total), and post to the blog before class begins next week.
