Nice stuff. I like the almost serpentine quality to a couple of your mongooses. It has an irony to it. The monkeys with holes is a different take, and missing body parts. I remember you talking about them in class and I think the direction shows some thought. Be careful about much these walk the line of breaking genre, however. They're almost zombie monkeys, and you do want to stay within the story of the Jungle Book. Still, think about anatomy, too. You're straying from realism, which is perfectly fine, but you still swing close enough back to it with a number of these you'll want to be clear about that.

sounds good. I took out a book that has animal anatomy and think i'm going to show some defined muscles as well (in the monkeys).
